Andrej has played such August stages as The Wigmore Hall in London, the Kennedy
Center in Washington and the Moscow Theater, as well as playing in Italy, France,
Germany, England and Canada. Andrej has recorded many CD's and of his recording
"The Intimate Guitar" the Cleveland Press wrote "Mentschukoff knows what to record
and plays it splendidly." The London Times affirms his recital as having "Poetry
in his music". Andrej has played over 400 concerts for the "Young Audience " program
all over the U.S. Many of his recitals and recordings include performances with
Singers, Flautists and other Guitarists. He often tours as the duet "The Amici Guitar
Duo". His own compositions have been featured in his recordings and performed by
other artists. To sum up Andrej's enjoyment of performance, it was best said by
a Music Committee Chairman after one of his concerts: "Not only were you a stellar
performer, with a well-deserved standing ovation, but charming and witty."
